Foxpro's Crooked Spur diaphragm calls combine prophylactic membrane and latex to produce the most realistic sounds available in a mouth call. Each call is individually stretched and assembled by hand to guarantee optimal sound quality. The series includes three distinct models covering a wide range of tones, pitches, and turkey calling techniques.

Features and Benefits Individual Hand Assembly: each call is manually stretched to ensure uniform membrane tension and consistent sound quality from one call to another.
Combination of Prophylactic and Latex: the combination of both materials produces a range of tones, pitches, and sound realism superior to single-membrane calls.
Printed Design and Unique Color per Model: each call is visually identifiable at a glance to quickly select the right call during hunting action.
Regular Frame: the standard size fits most hunters and offers a good vibration surface to produce powerful, natural sounds.
Crooked Spur Series Models Crooked Spur Black V-Cut: 3.5 prophylactic reed membrane with V-cut for exceptional realism and ease of use, ideal for reproducing the sharp calls of the turkey.
Crooked Spur Orange Batwing: 0.004 mm gray latex on top and two 0.003 mm prophylactic reeds underneath for sound versatility and a wide tonal range.
Crooked Spur Gray Double: two 0.003 mm latex reeds for a high-pitched range that's easy to control, with high sound realism suitable for hunters of all levels.
Maintenance Cleaning After Use: rinse the call with a mixture of water and mouthwash or tap water, then gently dry with a cloth or paper towel.
Air Drying: insert a toothpick between the upper and lower reeds and let dry for several hours away from heat and direct sunlight, which can damage the latex and affect sound quality.
Storage: store the calls in an airtight container in a cool, dark place to extend their lifespan between hunting seasons.
Periods and types of activities Spring Turkey Hunting: the variety of the three models allows adapting the call to the turkey's reactions and varying the sounds to outsmart wary individuals.
Approach and Still Hunting: the diaphragm call frees both hands to hold the gun in position while continuing to call the turkey until the moment of the shot.
